The XXI SIM Conference in IULM

The XXI SIM Conference in IULM from October 17 to 19, 2024.

IULM University will host the XXI SIM Conference from October 17-19, 2024, an annual benchmark event for academic researchers, practitioners and marketing faculty, organized by the Italian Society of Marketing (SIM). The theme of this edition will be "Brands and Purpose in a Changing Era."

More than 300 participants are expected and the presentation of 150 up-to-date research papers on the role of brands and their evolution in a context of profound structural, technological and value changes. The program also includes research conducted by IULM University in collaboration with Centromarca.

Call for Papers

The Call for Papers for the XXI SIM Conference is open and invites submissions of original and innovative research in the following Thematic Sections:

  2. Consumer Behaviour
  3. Marketing Communication & Branding
  4. B2B Marketing
  5. Retailing & Channel Management
  6. Tourism, Culture and Arts Marketing
  7. Technology and Innovation Marketing
  8. Digital Marketing
  9. Sustainable Marketing
  10. Services Marketing

There is also a Special Track "Marketing cases," which welcomes business case studies focused on marketing issues. Submitted cases may be published in the Management & Marketing Cases series edited by SIM and SIMA with Pearson editors.
